Woods Hole Film Festival 2014 Schedule

Sean, a retired literature professor and civic activist, writes a letter to his estranged son, Tennessee, a ranch hand who hasn't been home for years. At first, Tennessee is uncertain how to respond, but fearing what could happen if he does not make an effort to see his aging father, he decides to make the journey home. He arrives just as Nina, Sean's personal trainer, fresh off a bad breakup, accepts Sean's offer to move into his guest room and help him write his memoirs. The tension between Sean and Tennessee is ever-present. Living under the same roof again is clearly difficult for the both of them. As Sean and Nina work on Sean's memoirs, Tennessee avoids his overbearing father by keeping himself busy with fix-up projects around the house. One evening, after Nina has left for a date, Sean and Tennessee find themselves alone in the house for the first time. No longer able to avoid each other, the two men must open up.
