Lies I Told My Little Sister

After the death of her oldest (and favorite) sister, globe-trotting nature photographer Cory Webber, 30, is guilted onto a family trip to Cape Cod - along with Jane, the younger sister she used to torment, and their renowned but remote artist mother. Also along for the ride are Jane's genially sarcastic husband and their 8 year old son, as they figure out how to go on without Sarah. Amid recriminations, revelations, a very weird shopkeeper and an old romance, they square off against the patterns of childhood. The ending is upbeat, full of potential amid the bittersweet: childhood can bring many demons, but it also can be the sources of your happiness. Starring Michael Fassbender's memorable 'sexy girl on the subway' breakout actress from Steve McQueen's 'Shame', Lucy Walters. A new cover of 'Heaven Can Wait' from 'Bat Out of Hell' is sung by veteran actress and rock singer Ellen Foley (playing the mother), who was made famous by her duet with Meat Loaf. Also starring John Behlmann ('Wolf of Wall Street'), Emmy-nominees Donovan Patton ('Blue's Clues') & Alicia Minshew ('All My Children'), and Michelle Petterson. Drama-Comedy. SAG ULB. 98 min. FILMMAKER IN ATTENDANCE
